Rob Halligan's Projects

Having run a manufacturing company and had some real estate ventures in California in the 90's, travelled for 3 years, and then having helped run a technology incubator in the early internet days, the future could take me in many directions.
With my transition out of most of my District of Columbia activism completed, I've been re-invigorating my consulting business. Some of my work comes in through DC area consulting firms that cater to non-profits. I've recently been on some projects where I'm a Business Analyst and some as a Project Manager. These are sub-contracting arrangements. My other work comes in through HalliganProjects Consulting where I pursue and fulfill direct contacts as the prime contractor. Please see the Consulting Work pages for details.
Alternatively, I’d like to run a small non-profit or be a director at a large one. If either were technology-oriented, that would be a bonus. Becoming a COO at a firm whose processes and systems need a major overhaul would be an interest and a good fit as well.
Much of my studying these days - therefore my most freshly-developed skill - is in productivity software, Web 2.0, software platforms, web platforms, CMSs, transparency, collaboration, nearshoring, crowdsourcing, and other developing methods of distributing work tasks and targeted information to relevant people. I'm launching a new business line offering Paid Crowdsourcing facilitation services.
